The Cave Clinical Services is dedicated to delivering high-quality education, mental health support, and treatment to communities in the Inland Empire (San Bernardino and Riverside Counties) with a special focus on underserved areas. The Cave Clinical Services is seeking a skilled, culturally responsive, and compassionate volunteer or intern committed to going above and beyond for the organization. Responsibilities
- For volunteers/Interns, these are subject to change and other duties as assigned:
- Provide comprehensive support to office staff, including efficient scheduling and timely reminders for patient appointments.
- Develop targeted marketing materials aligned with the company’s mission and vision.
- Assist in crafting and executing innovative social media strategies to enhance engagement and boost awareness of our brand.
- Create, curate, and manage compelling content across various social media platforms to effectively represent the organization.
- Conduct research on current trends in mental health and social media to inform and inspire our content strategy.
- Monitor and engage with our audience across social media channels, responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure social media initiatives are integrated with broader marketing objectives.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Enhance educational outreach across all entities, including covering sponsored events and creating engaging reels and videos.
- Manage online advertisements and related promotional content effectively.
- Support staff presentations by overseeing technology, welcoming attendees, facilitating literature reviews, and distributing relevant documents.
- For Trainees (PCC, CSW, MFT)
- We offer trainee positions that qualify for BBS hours. These roles offer flexible scheduling, but candidates should be available on weekends, with a preference for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- While some morning shifts may be available, evening and weekend availability is highly preferred.
- As an added benefit, free supervision will be provided throughout your training.
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of clients’ mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals.
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in case consultations and supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills.
- Stay informed about best practices and new developments in mental health therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
Requirements
- For volunteers/Interns:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Possesses a strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in interpersonal and soft skills.
- Skilled in computer applications and proficient in reading and writing.
- Strong communication abilities.
- For Trainees (PCC, CSW, MFT)
- A strong understanding of mental health assessment and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards and practices.
- Ability to receive and apply feedback related to case conceptualization, diagnoses, therapeutic modalities, and research.
- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Document all trainee hours and provide documents to the supervisor for signing.
